What we collect
- When you order: your name, email, phone number, shipping and billing address, and what you bought. Stripe collects your card details; we never see or store your card number.
- When you browse: our host, Cloudflare, keeps standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested) for security and reliability. We don't run analytics or advertising trackers on the store pages.
- On our storm-prep guides: the guide pages show ads from Google AdSense. Google and its partners use cookies to show ads based on your visits to this and other sites. You can turn off personalized ads at Google Ad Settings or opt out of other vendors at aboutads.info. See how Google uses information from sites that use its services.
- On your device: the drive picker remembers your last choice in your browser's local storage. It never leaves your device.
How we use it
To process payment, ship your order, email you about it (receipt, tracking, delays) and answer your questions. We don't sell your personal information and don't share it except with the services that do these jobs: Stripe (payments and tax), Cloudflare (hosting), Google (our email), and the shipping carrier.
The offline kit
The Storm Proof AI software runs on your own computer. Your questions to the AI, your searches and your map use stay on your device and are never sent to us.
Partner links
If you click a partner ("See it") link, the partner's site may set its own cookies to credit the referral. Their privacy policy applies there.
Do Not Track
Our store pages don't track you across other sites. The guide pages carry Google ads, which may track across sites as described above; we don't change anything based on Do Not Track signals.
Keeping and deleting data
We keep order records as long as tax and accounting law requires. Email us to see, correct or delete your information, and we'll do it unless the law requires us to keep it.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
